Do I or don't I...

So as I sit in my second office, I realize the simple fact that desire or motivation to do things ultimately determines what we actually do. Granted there are outside forces that will limit us in certain ways (time, money, etc.) but ultimately it's the "want" factor that will even override those obstacles. What I'm really getting at though is if you want something enough you'll make it happen. My newest challenge to myself is determining what "wants" should be taking the top of my priority list, and then doing them. This is easier said than done. Reason why? Wanting to eat healthy, exercise, and being fit is harder than being lazy and eating unhealthy (but tasty!) foods. Letting your kids watch TV is easier than playing with them. Reading the bible or doing yoga is harder than watching a movie. The truth is that things of value come at a price, and if your value scale is off, you will be too.
